The Buffalo Bills have been taking part in offseason workouts recently as they prepare for the upcoming season. The Bills have already made some big changes this offseason, headlined by the firing of Sean McDermott and promotion of Joe Brady as the team’s new head coach, as well as their trade for DJ Moore.

One unresolved issue for the Bills is the contract situation of guard O’Cyrus Torrence, who is due for a new contract extension this offseason.

Recently, NFL reporter Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN broke down the latest in those talks.

“There has been interest from both sides in keeping the Bills’ starting right guard for the past three seasons around for years to come,” she reported. “…General manager Brandon Beane has a history of getting extensions done just before or early in the season.”

All told, it seems that Bills fans have nothing to worry about regarding the future of Torrence, who is one of quarterback Josh Allen’s best protectors on the offensive line.

The Bills in 2026 will be hoping to bounce back after a rough end to the 2025 season, which saw Allen commit several key turnovers in a narrow road loss to the Denver Broncos in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs. The Bills’ wide receiver room has been a weakness for multiple years now, with youngster Keon Coleman not panning out thus far in his career, which prompted the team to trade for Moore from the Chicago Bears.

While his 2025 season was plagued by inconsistency, Moore still made some huge catches for the Bears last season, and will hope to bring a similar level of clutchness to the Bills.

Buffalo’s 2026 season is slated to kick off in early September.
