Why are the Cowboys favored Sunday against the Chargers?
Inside The Star Inside The Star

Well, after the Cowboys took care of the Eagles and Chiefs, most of us thought this team had a chance to win the NFC East, but after the loss to the Vikings, the vibe now feels a lot different.

With pretty much all hope off the table with the Eagles only needing to win one game over the last three weeks to win the division, I am sure this team will look like the best team in football again because they have no expectations.

Below you will see the game info, and the betting line for a Cowboys team that is somehow favored on the road against the Chargers.

Doesn’t Make Sense

The Los Angeles Chargers are 10-4, and currently the 5th seed in the AFC playoff picture and are a much better team when you look at both them and the Cowboys, regardless if Dallas is at home or not.

The Cowboys just lost to the Vikings, whose offense has not been good with JJ McCarthy, but made him look like Fran Tarkenton.

The only reason I can think of that the Cowboys are the favorite is because now that they have nothing to play for, they won’t press and just play well.

No more expectations, but the Chargers have only lost once in the last seven games.

They have a really good ground game with Omarion Hampton and Kimani Vidal, but the Dallas pass defense will allow Justin Herbert to look great like they have every other quarterback.

Look for Ladd McConkey to have a big game.

The Eagles don’t play until the afternoon slate, so Dallas has to win and hope they can at least buy themselves another week with the Eagles losing to the Commanders, but it won’t happen.

I don’t trust this defense, but Jerry Jones says the starters are going to play until the end of the season, so we will see how the last three games go, but I just can’t wrap my head around Dallas being the favorites in this game.

I will take the Chargers to win this game on the road 33 – 26.
