DJ Moore led the Chicago Bears in targets the last two seasons, and before him, it was Cole Kmet, but who will lead the way in 2025?

Becuase of his experience, Moore is probably the odds-on favorite to make it three years in a row, but with a new coaching staff and offense, everyone came into the offseason with a fresh slate.

Second-year pro, Rome Odunze, holds the franchise record for most targets as a rookie at 101, and is probably the biggest challenger to Moore for targets.

Chicago spent their first two draft picks on pass catchers Colston Loveland and Luther Burden II, and both figure to play prominent roles in Ben Johnson’s passing game, but a rookie has never led the Bears in targets since at least before targets were an official NFL stat (1992).

Ben Johnson’s target leader in Detroit was always Amon-Ra St. Brown, who lined up plenty in the slot. So maybe Chicago’s primary “slot” will see the most targets, and we’re sure to see Johnson work several players into that position, depending on the matchup.
