The New Orleans Saints were no match for the Los Angeles Rams, as they fell 34–10 in Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season at SoFi Stadium.

The breakout player from the Saints’ loss to the Rams turned in his second straight impressive performance, building on what was arguably his best game in Black and Gold since inking a three-year, $31.5 million deal with New Orleans this offseason.

The 28-year-old recorded 13 total tackles (eight solo) and three stops on 79 defensive snaps, along with a 76.5 overall grade and an 88.2 run-defense grade against the Rams, according to Pro Football Focus. His recent performance came on the heels of a strong showing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when he posted six total tackles (five solo), three stops and a sack, earning an 82.1 overall grade (80.1 in tackling, 79.3 in pass rush, and 77.2 in coverage), per PFF.

The Louisiana native and two-time Super Bowl champion has been one of the very few bright spots for New Orleans over the past couple of weeks.
