The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans on Sunday.
The Eagles are looking to win their first trophy in the Jalen Hurts era, but the Kansas City Chiefs will make their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance and fourth in five years.
Ahead of such a massive matchup, several performances will be held, including the national anthem. Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Jon Batiste will belt out his rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Batiste is a Louisiana native who studied at Juilliard and was previously the bandleader and musical director for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for seven years. He also co-composed Pixar’s Soul.
Stephanie Nogueras will perform the national anthem alongside Batistse in American Sign Language (ASL).
