It is widely believed that this will be Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s final season. Which current Chiefs player is most likely to assume Kelce’s role in the Kansas City offense?
Under the extension he signed last season, Noah Gray is still under contract through 2027 — although the team could easily walk away from the deal after 2025. Jared Wiley — taken out of TCU in the fourth round of the 2024 draft — looks like the kind of player who could find a niche like Kelce’s, but appeared in only seven games before an ACL injury ended his rookie season. It’s not clear when Wiley will be back — or how he will really fit into the offense. Then there’s rookie Jake Briningstool, who was highly recruited as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson.
Which of these players stands the best chance to succeed Kelce? Place your vote — and then join the conversation!
