Heading to Pittsburgh, PA isn’t guaranteed for Buffalo in 2025
The 2025 NFL regular-season schedule release is at our doorsteps, and Bills Mafia are anxious to find out when and where the Buffalo Bills will play this coming season. Of note this season is the fact that Buffalo hosts both Super Bowl LIX teams in the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. Those are two highly anticipated matchups among a challenging slate of home opponents in 2025.
Though when looking at the Bills’ away opponents it doesn’t appear as daunting as the home slate, there are matchups that stand out. Perhaps the most compelling among them is the road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
You certainly remember the last time these two teams played each other in a meaningful game, and that Buffalo gave Pittsburgh a butt kicking during Super Wild Card Weekend. What’s most interesting about this game is the possibility of where it might be played.
As we already know, the Steelers will play in Dublin, Ireland as part of the first NFL game to be played there. What we don’t know is who Pittsburgh will play, but there’ a fair shot that it could be the Bills.
Some might say there’s a high likelihood for a number of reasons. For one, they have the reigning NFL MVP in quarterback Josh Allen. Who wouldn’t want to see him play in person? Add to that Allen having the fourth-highest-selling jersey in the UK and Ireland during the 2024 NFL season.
When also considering that the team didn’t play an international game last year (Buffalo did play in London during 2023), it starts to make some sense. So, Rumblers — which away game would you like to see?
