It’s way too early to start thinking about the 2026 NFL Draft, especially since we don’t know who will be available when the Green Bay Packers will be picking 64th overall, but the team has already started work on the upcoming draft class. According to media reports from the first full week of college football, Packers front office members were out at five games (at least) this weekend.

Let’s walk through where the scouts were and who some players of interest are at these stops. The prospect rankings we’ll be referencing here are via the consensus draft board. Players listed underneath schools are ranked among the top 250 prospects for the 2026 draft.

Texas @ Ohio State

  • Texas
    • #1 QB Arch Manning
    • #21 LB Anthony Hill Jr.
    • #38 OL Trevor Goosby
    • #41 CB Malik Muhammad
    • #97 OL D.J. Campbell
    • #99 RB Quintrevion Wisner
    • #104 S Michael Taaffe
    • #115 ED Trey Moore
    • #146 RB C.J. Baxter
    • #150 WR DeAndre Moore Jr.
  • Ohio State
    • #5 S Caleb Downs
    • #29 WR Carnell Tate
    • #36 LB Sonny Styles
    • #39 TE Max Klare
    • #114 CB Davison Igbinosun
    • #163 ED Kenyatta Jackson
    • #180 DL Kayden McDonald
    • #200 CB Jermaine Mathews Jr.
    • #213 OL Ethan Onianwa
    • #244 S Keenan Nelson Jr.

Green Bay sent three scouts to Texas-Ohio State and were one of seven teams to send several members of the front office to the game. Honestly, I thought the best player in the game was redshirt sophomore Arvell Reese, who is not currently ranked as a draftable player, but had a hell of a day in his first Week 1 start of his college career. Look for the linebacker to shoot up draft boards quickly. Texas also has a pair of offensive linemen in Trevor Goosby and D.J. Campbell, the latter who plays guard, that the Packers could be interested in next draft.

LSU @ Clemson

  • LSU
    • #4 QB Garrett Nussmeier
    • #44 LB Harold Perkins
    • #77 LB Whit Weeks
    • #78 CB Mansoor Delane
    • #106 ED Patrick Payton
    • #118 WR Nic Anderson
    • #119 WR Aaron Anderson
    • #183 CB Ashton Stamps
    • #187 OL Braelin Moore
    • #194 RB Kaleb Jackson
    • #227 OL Josh Thompson
  • Clemson
    • #2 QB Cade Klubnik
    • #6 DL Peter Woods
    • #7 ED T.J. Parker
    • #19 CB Avieon Terrell
    • #26 WR Antonio Williams
    • #86 OL Blake Miller
    • #96 DL DeMonte Capehart
    • #121 OL Tristan Leigh

General manager Brian Gutekunst was actually at this game, making him one of three general managers in attendance. Avieon Terrell, brother of A.J. Terrell, was the best performer out of the bunch, in my opinion. LSU has some interesting transfers in Mansoor Delane, a 6’0” cornerback with legit 4.4 speed, and Patrick Payton, a defensive end who had a down year in 2024 with Florida State. A name to...
