Last week, our own Marek Brave posted a story about Tua being ranked in the bottom half of the league at 17th best overall QB. The story covered ESPN’s rankings of the NFL’s starting quarterbacks. With ESPN having Tua ranked in the bottom half of the league, I asked the following question:
Do you think that ESPN’s ranking of Tua Tagovailoa is just about right, too low, or too high, and why?
Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

He is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in the NFL. Clearly currently in the top 3 at minimum. Anybody who can’t see that after all he has done in his career is quite frankly coocoo for cocoa puffs
herbert pollack feels like he fell to the exact right spot on the list.
As in Goldilocks and the 3 bears......just right.
Phin is the Word is eager for another kind of poll.
It’s about right. Now if they ranked QBs by the amount of time they spend trying on different hairstyles, he’s in the Top 3 discussion without question.
Bill Moody believes it's too low, as he’s closer to a top-ten guy.
Too Low IMO. When he’s on his game he could fall anywhere from 7th to as low as 12th. I think his issues with concussions (and thus a questionmark on his availability) is what has him ranked lower in other lists. Also their inability to win against better teams; although, I think this narrative changes this season since we finally face some of those teams at home instead of away.
HunztheMighty likes a guy with good character and believes that he could win the big game with the right team around him.
I think he is a very good QB that has some holes in his game. He is also a young man with alot of character and for me that is huge. I cant stand cheering on people who’s personal lives are repugnant
I think he has the potential to win a superbowl with the right tools around him. Thats all I can ask of my QB. Not all teams have this luxury. When the dolphins play I think there is a chance even when we are down by a score or two. It hasnt been that way for a number of years.
Is he the best in the league, probably not overall, but in some aspects of his game there arent alot of guys playing that can do some of the things he does. I will also say that he seems to have a huge heart and loves the game, not all players do and I think that translates to wins on the field.
Yarganaught hopes that he takes the lower ranking as motivation going forward.
Personally, I don’t care. Objectively speaking, sure he had a down season due to him being injured. One could argue that they were more self-inflicted than anything...
