Bengals vs. Browns has produced some epically bad games.
Greetings, Bengals fans!
For today’s discussion, we’re asking you to let us know what the absolute worst Bengals game you’ve ever watched was.
Ironically, my in-person and watch-from-home choices come vs. the same team: The Cleveland Browns.
The worst Bengals game I’ve ever attended was easily the 2008 home fartfest vs. the Browns. Carson Palmer was out, and Ryan Fitzpatrick couldn’t do much in his place as both teams struggled to do anything offensively before Cleveland came away with a 20-12 win. The Bengals committed five turnovers and fell to 0-4 overall, while the Browns picked up their first win of the season.
The worst game I’ve watched from home had to be the 2014 home game vs. Cleveland. It featured one of the worst games an NFL starting quarterback has ever had, as Andy Dalton completed just 10/33 passes in the rain for 86 yards and three picks, good for a 2.0 passer rating and a 3.1 QBR in the 24-3 defeat.
Yikes.
