Taylor Doll talks with UTSA cornerbacks coach Nick Graham about Chicago Bears rookie fifth-round pick Zah Frazier.
On her latest Making Monsters podcast, Taylor Doll is joined by UTSA cornerbacks coach Nick Graham, who coached Chicago Bears rookie fifth-rounder Zah Frazier all three years Zah was with the Roadrunners.
They discuss Frazier’s college career from Coffeyville Junior College to UTSA, the 2023 season where he missed most of the year, his growth under Coach Graham, and expectations working with Bears defensive backs coach Al Harris.
“The kid just never quits. He’s always going to come in there with that big, bright smile. He’s going to be on time, and he’s just a sponge,” Graham said about Frazier’s work ethic.
“That’s what I love about him. He’s always looking for ways to get better. You know, so those first few years, he was just kind of a baby deer. You know what I mean? He needed to get stronger, just the coordination and all that. But I’m telling you, once we put it all together, then it was just like, go attack the ball. Just go attack. You’re going to get a chance just because you’re big and you can run. But go attack the ball and you can get drafted.”
Frazier’s six interceptions were tied for the second most in college football in 2024.
