Taylor Doll got the inside scoop on what offensive coordinator Declan Doyle brings to the Bears.
On her latest Making Monsters podcast, Taylor Doll chats with former University of Iowa wide receivers coach Kelton Copeland about his time on staff with new Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle when they were both with the Hawkeyes.
Copeland, who is now on staff with the University of Kansas, was with Iowa from 2017 to 2023, so he and Doyle spent a couple of years together while Declan was just starting his football coaching journey as a student assistant.
They also chat about Bears punter and Iowa legend Tory Taylor and some current Jayhawks football prospects where Copeland currently works as an offensive assistant.
It’s a fun inside look at Doyle's coaching style and work ethic, which were evident even early in his coaching career.
