We all have our thoughts on what will occur when the New York Jets play the Pittsburgh Steelers. If I had to guess, some of the readers of Gang Green Nation think the Jets will steamroll the Steelers tomorrow, while others are probably expecting the worst.
But, as savvy as some of us think we are in our evaluations, I’d be willing to bet a greater deal of resources have gone into Fanduel’s projections. So what are they thinking based on their lines (taken at about 6:30 PM EST on Saturday)?
Well, first, they have the Jets to win the game at +128. which means you can bet $100 to win an additional $128 dollars. This positions the Jets as the underdog. Specifically, it would place the Jets implied odds of victory at about 44%.
In line with that, they have the Jets at +3, which means they expect the team to lose by about a field goal.
They also have the over/under set at 37.5, which implies they expect a relatively low scoring endeavor.
