Today, it’s rookie running back Kaleb Johnson, who played just two offensive snaps in the season opener against the New York Jets.

Johnson has been listed behind Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell on the Pittsburgh depth chart since he arrived as a third-round pick out of Iowa this April, but most assumed that he would eventually become at least the team’s second running back into the rotation behind Warren.
