Before the ink was dry on the new contract extension that the Pittsburgh Steelers signed outside linebacker Nick Herbig to earlier this offseason, the questions started about whether that deal means a trade is coming for one of the Steelersโ starters at the position.
Herbig is set to make $25 million a year for the next four seasons, and while he said he already feels like a starter, he is still stuck behind T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith on the depth chart in Pittsburgh.
Does that mean that general manager Omar Khan should be dangling one of the veteran backers in a trade? And if he is, what could he expect to get for one of them?
