Raiders reportedly could extend wide receiver
Jakobi Meyers was one of the Las Vegas Raiders most productive players in the 2024 season.
The Raiders need all the productive players they can get as they try to rebuild.
They need veteran wide receivers.
Las Vegas has plenty of salary-cap room to give Meyers a new deal.
So, what will it take to get it done?
Meyers, turns 29 in November, and he’s in his prime. He set career highs with 87 catches for 1,027 yards in 2024. He may not be a classic No. 1 receiver, so the team may be reluctant to may him huge dollars.
But I could see the Raiders offering him three-four year contract that averages in the $13-16 million range. That could make sense for all involved.
