What are the odds? The Washington Commanders are road underdogs against the Los Angeles Chargers

The Washington Commanders are 2-2 after a disappointing 34-27 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin didn’t play, and Marcus Mariota couldn’t repeat his performance against another former team. Washington’s defense missed tackles, gave up big plays, and had communication issues.

The Commanders are looking to get back in the win column when they travel across the country to face the Los Angeles Chargers next weekend. They are coming off a loss to the New York Giants, giving rookie QB Jaxson Dart his first win in his first start. The Chargers were 3-0 going into this week, and like the Falcons this week, will be highly motivated after losing to a “lesser” team.

Jayden Daniels could be making his return this week, and that should give the team some more motivation. That won’t fix the communications issues, missed tackles, and other issues on defense.
