The Washington Commanders went to overtime in their last two games, but are still on a seven-game losing streak heading into Week 14. They were a two-point conversion away from break their streak, but Broncos LB Nik Bonitto knocked the ball down, and ended the game. The game ended 27-26, and it was Washington’s best showing this season.

The Minnesota Vikings were just shut out by the Seattle Seahawks 26-0 on the road with UDFA Max Brosmer getting his first NFL start. QB J.J. McCarthy was ruled out with a concussion, and has been a major issue for the team when healthy. The Vikings are 4-8 and have been severely held back by QB play this season. Carson Wentz held down the fort until his stitches needed stitches, but they’re another team that couldn’t overcome injuries.

The Commanders season has also been derailed by injuries, but they’re getting healthier in a too little, too late situation. Terry McLaurin returned vs the Broncos last night and had 7 receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown in overtime. Jayden Daniels returned to practice this week, but wasn’t cleared for contact. He could join McLaurin and a returning Noah Brown against a Vikings team that can’t get over their own issues.
