The Washington Commanders are 2-1 after a dominating 41-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. They did this whilw missing several players who suffered injuries in a Thursday Night Football loss to the Green Bay Packers last week.
Jayden Daniels missed the first game of his young career due to a knee sprain, and we don’t know whether he’ll be ready to pplay this week. Veteran backup QB Marcus Mariota led the team in his absence and looked like he was in complete control of the offense.
The Commanders are looking to keep that momentum going when the go on the road to take on the Atlanta Falcons who a reeling from a 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Second-year QB was benched for former Redskins fourth-rounr pick Kirk Cousins, but they still couldn’t score.
