Week 9 odds: Ravens favored in Miami

The Baltimore Ravens (2-5) are 7.5-point favorites for their upcoming matchup with the Miami Dolphins (2-6) on Thursday Night Football.

Both teams recorded their second win of the season in Week 8. The Ravens finally snapped their four-game losing streak against the Bears, and they’re now set for another boost with Lamar Jackson slated to return to the lineup. The Dolphins stopped their own three-week skid on Sunday, shutting down a Kirk Cousins-led Falcons offense and steamrolling one of the league’s top-ranked defenses. In fact, Miami scored the most points and allowed the fewest it has all year.

Jackson is firmly trending towards playing on Thursday night. That should keep the Ravens as heavy favorites up until kickoff. The Dolphins offense showed some life in their last game and could keep a still-uncertain Ravens defense on their heels, but the two-time MVP will likely be too much for Miami’s bottom-10 defense.
