The Indianapolis Colts are at home to take on the Arizona Cardinals in week 6 of the 2025 season, kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Last week saw the absolute dismantling of the Las Vegas Raiders at the hand of our Colts. If you were a Raiders fan, you would be hard pressed to think of a more complete loss, a more thorough destruction. Last week the Indianapolis Colts played a complete game, showed no mercy and dominated their opponent for nearly the entire game.

It was beautiful.

This week our Colts will face a reeling 2-3 Arizona Cardinals team who will be without their starting quarterback. Kyler Murray will miss today’s game with a mid-foot sprain. Jacoby Brissett will fill in for Murray and Colts fans are very familiar with Brissett. It feels like a lifetime ago now but most of us remember Brissett as the starting quarterback for our Colts. During his time in Indy, Jacoby didn’t seem to understand how to take anything off of his underneath passes and he often got the ball out late when working his reads. I’ll be interested to see if those things have improved for Brissett in the years since he was last here, but all things considered, I hope they haven’t.

The Cardinals offense has been, well, not great so far in 2025. They’ve scored the 23rd most points, have the 27th most first downs and 31st passing yards. Now, having said all of that, they do rank 8th in yards per rushing attempt at 4.8 YPR, the issue is only 7 teams have attempted fewer runs. I think we may see that change today as the Cardinals would be wise to lean on the run, especially since Grover Stewart has been limited this week in practice with a biceps injury.

Defensively the Cardinals are an odd group. They rank 21st in yards allowed but just fourth in points allowed. They’re the definition of bend-don’t-break defense. They bend and bend and bend and then the other team just doesn’t score much.

Today Indy will look to change that with another big win at home.

Prediction:

Cardinals: 21

Colts: 33

As always, go Colts.
