We’re officially into the second month of the 2025 NFL season, and it isn’t looking too good for the Las Vegas Raiders at 1-3. Hopefully, October brings more wins for the Raiders, or this team will be on the path to nowhere fast, and some will argue they already are. Regardless, our Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition continues, and bye weeks are starting across the league, making each pick more important.

Holder’s picks: IND -6.5, IND ML, Under 47.5
Originally, I wanted to take the Raiders with the points since this is a big spread. However, I don’t have confidence in Geno Smith right now, and the Colts have been rolling to begin the campaign. Indianapolis dominated Miami and Tennessee in Weeks 1 and 3, edged out a victory against a talented Broncos team, and just went toe-to-toe with one of the best clubs in the NFC, the Rams. Meanwhile, Las Vegas has fallen short three times in a row and lost its best offensive lineman, Kolton Miller, earlier this week.
Moving on to S&BP’s Pick’em competition, below is a look at how our writers finished in Week 4.
Bill and Ray tied at 10-5-1 last week, and it wasn’t the best showing by me with just nine winners. So, I dropped a game to Bill while Ray remained stagnant and still has some ground to make up. The Ravens really let me down by getting run out of town by the Chiefs, as those other two picked Kansas City (traitors!). Still, there’s plenty of time to make up the two games.

We’ve already had a lot of movement at the top of the community standings, as we have another new leader with Tennesse Raider Fan taking over first place. On that note, it wouldn’t be surprising to see more reshuffling next week since 10 people are within two picks of Tennesse! So, after one month, there are plenty of contenders for the crown this year.
Also, shoutout to all of our Week 4 top pickers, especially JeepRaider, who moved into second place with a strong performance last weekend.
Best of luck with your picks this week!
