Pats Pulpit Pats Pulpit

Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers marked the New England Patriots’ 28th defeat at Gillette Stadium since the 2020 season. For comparison, the team lost a grand total of 27 home games over the previous 18 years combined.

Needless to say, the days of Gillette Stadium being a near-impenetrable fortress are a thing of the ever more distant past. This year alone, the Patriots have not been able to secure a victory in their two home games, losing to the aforementioned Steelers as well as the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1.

Will their fortunes change this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers? At least according to the odds at FanDuel Sportsbook, that could very well be the case.

Odds for Patriots vs. Panthers in NFL Week 4

  • Spread: Patriots -5.5
  • Moneyline: Patriots -250 | Panthers +205
  • Over/under: 43.5

The Patriots and Panthers are entering Week 4 with identical 1-2 records. Whereas New England is coming off the aforementioned 21-14 loss to the Steelers, Carolina just celebrated a 30-0 blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Kickoff between the two longtime foes at Gillette Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 28.
