It’s time to put last week’s loss in the rearview mirror as the Las Vegas Raiders have a chance to bounce back this Sunday against the Washington Commanders. Also, we have the updated standings for Silver and Black Pride’s Pick’em competition as we’re two weeks in!

Holder’s picks: LV +3, WSH ML, Under 44.5
This game is hard to predict since Jayden Daniels’ status is unknown at the time of writing. So, I’m going with the cowardly approach by hedging the spread and moneyline picks. Seeing as the Raiders are coming off a nine-point performance and the Commanders will have either a hobbled or backup quarterback, the under feels like the smart bet here.
Moving on to S&BP’s Pick’em competition, below is a look at how our writers finished in Week 2.
I was able to pick up a game and close the gap on Bill with a strong 14-2 performance last weekend. The difference came down to Sunday Night Football, where the Atlanta Falcons took down the Minnesota Vikings. Bill still holds the one-pick advantage, though, while Ray is slipping by going 10-6 and being the worst picker in back-to-back weeks.

A big shoutout to FiteClub, Tennesse Raider Fan and FeardnRevered as they not only tied me as the top picker in Week 2, but they also earned spots in the top 10 community standings after missing the cut last time! Meanwhile, belenraider took over sole possession of first place (wish I could say that about another Raiders team…). However, belenraider’s lead is just by one game over seven people in second place. So, we could be in for some drama at the top of the leaderboard soon!
