Week 3 wasn’t exactly kind to the Las Vegas Raiders, suffering a blowout loss at the hands of the Washington Commanders. But let’s check in on a few former Raiders: Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams and Tre’von Moehrig, and see how Sunday treated a few old friends.

Josh Jacobs

  • Game result: 10-13, Packers lose
  • Stats: 16 carries, 30 rushing yards

Heading into this game, Jacobs had a streak of 10 consecutive regular-season games (11 including playoffs) with at least one touchdown. However, he and the Packers’ offense had a tough time getting going against the Cleveland Browns, snapping the running back’s run of finding the end zone. That was a big factor in Cleveland pulling off the biggest upset of the weekend, in addition to a blocked Brandon McManus field goal that would have given Green Bay the lead with 21 seconds left in the game. Instead, the Browns had a short field to set up their game-winning kick.

Davante Adams

  • Game result: 26-33, Rams lose
  • Stats: 3 catches, 56 yards, 1 TD

Continuing with the theme of wild endings, this Los Angeles Rams-Philadelphia Eagles game might have been the craziest of them all. The Rams were up 26-7 in the third quarter, but the Eagles rattled off 26 unanswered points, including blocking and returning Los Angeles’ game-winning field goal attempt for a touchdown. Philadelphia also blocked another field goal earlier in the game. Meanwhile, Adams’ production really boiled down to one catch, a 44-yard touchdown that accounted for the majority of his stat line.

Tre’von Moehrig

  • Game result: 30-0 Panthers win
  • Stats: 6 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 QB hit

In a change of pace, Moehrig and the Carolina Panthers enjoyed a dominant win on Sunday, shutting out the Atlanta Falcons. The safety was the team’s third-leading tackler and made plays in both phases of the game, recording a TFL as a run defender and getting some pressure when blitzing. That went a long way toward keeping Atlanta’s offense in check.
