As the season moves forward, we’ll have more NFL stats to help tweak our analysis as we determine the worst and best fantasy matchups each week. For now, we work with what we have.

Week 2 Fantasy QB Rankings: Best Fantasy Quarterbacks This Week

Joe Burrow vs Jacksonville Jaguars – In 2024, the Jaguars’ defense allowed multiple touchdown passes in a game on eight occasions and 250-plus yards in 9-of-17 games.
Jalen Hurts vs Kansas City Chiefs – In their last 12 regular-season games, the Chiefs’ defense has allowed 20 passing touchdowns with a 68.8 percent completion rate and a 96.0 QB rating.
Lamar Jackson vs Cleveland Browns – In his last four starts against the Browns defense, Lamar Jackson has a 7-2 TD-INT ratio and he’s averaged 44.3 rushing yards per game with a 99.4 QB rating
Jayden Daniels vs Green Bay Packers – In their last 10 regular-season games, the Packers’ defense has held opponents to just 12 touchdown passes with 8 interceptions and only 213.2 passing yards per game
Josh Allen vs New York Jets – Against Aaron Glenn’s defense (Detroit Lions) in 2024, Josh Allen threw for 362 yards with 68 rushing yards and 4 total touchdowns. In two games against the Jets, he only averaged 198.5 pass ypg but scored 6 total touchdowns
Kyler Murray vs Carolina Panthers – Across their final seven games last season, the Panthers defense allowed 17 touchdown passes (2.4 per game) and a 104.7 QB rating
Brock Purdy vs New Orleans Saints – In the last seven regular-season games, New Orleans has allowed 230 passing yards per game with just 2 interceptions
Jordan Love vs Washington Commanders – In his final seven regular-season starts in 2024, Love had a 9-0 TD-INT ratio, posting a 106.0 QB rating. He hasn’t thrown an interception in a regular-season game since Nov. 17, 2024.
