It’s not often that the two worst teams in the league square off this late in the season. So, the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants are set up for a big matchup in Week 17, as this game has appropriately been nicknamed ‘The Tank Bowl’!
Also, we have just two weeks left in the regular season for our Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition. We will continue the competition through the Super Bowl, but time is running out to make a big push.

The Raiders surprised a lot of people, myself included, with how well they played against the Houston Texans last week. If that carries over to this Sunday, they can absolutely beat the Giants. Jaxson Dart hasn’t been playing well since suffering a concussion over a month ago and is coming off a performance where he threw for just 33 yards. Also, outside of the defensive line, New York’s defense has a lot of issues. The only factor that gives me pause is that the Raiders put Brock Bowers and Jemery Chinn on injured reserve this week, a potential sign that the organization is leaning into the tank.

Big news: I did it! After spending all season chasing Bill, not only did I catch up, but I managed to take the lead by going 13-3 last week while Bill went 10-6. The difference was having the guts to take the Titans over the Chiefs, then the Bengals over the Dolphins and Patriots over the Ravens. Now, it’s a matter of holding onto the one-game lead over the next month-plus to take home the writer’s crown. As for Ray, a 9-7 performance pushes him further down the standings.
