Two underachieving teams try to give their fans some happiness before their season ends.
And we close off Week 14 of NFL football with an inter-conference matchup as the Dallas Cowboys (+ 198) host the Bengals (- 240) in Arlington, Texas. Both teams are out of the playoffs at this point, so they are playing for nothing more than bragging rights. The visitors are currently favoured by 5.5-points, with the OU for the game at 49.5.
The Cowboys won against the Giants last week, in an always entertaining Cooper Rush vs. Drew Lock quarterback matchup. I’ll be completely honest I had absolutely no record of this game ever happening and after finishing this article I’ll never remember it again, but Rico Dowdle is having a solid season for fantasy managers.
The Bengals continue with their streak of unlucky losses, and probably just want to get this season over with as soon as possible. I have not a seen a quarterback with this level of play and such a bad record in my life, as some tough questions need to be asked about the direction of this Bengals’ team.
Overall, this is not a game worth watching unless you have some fantasy implications in there. I also think that the Bengals will win and it will not be particularly close. At 4-8 the Bengals have stopped being a playoff hopeful a couple of weeks ago, so there is not even that threat anymore.
