Week 14 Injury Report: Trevon Diggs and Tyler Guyton ruled out
Inside The Star Inside The Star

The Dallas Cowboys are set to take on the Detroit Lions tonight in a huge matchup that will likely make or break the playoff chances for both teams.

A loss for either would drop their chances down to nearly under 10%, and the Cowboys are going to have to win this game tonight without the help of two starters who have been officially ruled out.

  • T Tyler Guyton (Ankle)

  • DE Jadeveon Clowney (Hamstring)
  • S Malik Hooker (Back)

Lions

  • S Kerby Joseph (Knee)
  • WR Kalif Raymond (Ankle)
  • TE Brock Wright (Neck)

QUESTIONABLE

  • WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (Ankle)
  • G Kayode Aqosika (Foot)
  • CB Brain Branch (Shoulder/Rest)
  • C Graham Glasgow (Knee)

Season On The Line

Nothing about the last two wins will matter if the Cowboys lose this game to the Lions tonight.

They took down the Eagles and the Chiefs in back-to-back games to get themselves back into the playoff race. Yet after the huge hole that they dug early in the season, they will need to nearly win out.

They have won the last three games without Trevon Diggs, who remains on IR, but he did have a chance to return to action this week. That clearly won’t happen.

The other starter they will be down again is Tyler Guyton. I will be honest with you, I think at least last week, the offensive line might have looked better without him. Nate Thomas is starting in his place.

Guyton is still struggling to clean up the silly mistakes, so him missing this game again won’t hurt them.

Trevon Diggs will not return this week from IR, and Tyler Guyton is ruled out vs. Lions.

Jadeveon Clowney remains a game-time decision — did practice today, though.

Now take a look at that report for the Lions above. They have three offensive linemen on the report, and Amon-Ra St. Brown, their best wide receiver with a low ankle sprain.

I don’t think he is going to play, the Lions just do not want to rule him out and allow the Cowboys to game plan for them without him. If you watched the game against Green Bay on Thanksgiving, even though it was only a low sprain, I don’t think he will be ready after just one week. It looked bad.

Dallas has to win this game with all these injuries. The Cowboys are the healthier football team coming into this game, and even though it is on the road, they should win this game.

The Lions are not going to bend over. This game will be a battle, and the injury report for tonight’s game is clearly on the side of the Dallas Cowboys. Just like the last two weeks, the season is once...
