Every NFL team ranked after week 12

We are just six weeks away from the start of the NFL playoffs. Think about that! Contenders are starting to round into form, teams with no hope are cutting their starting quarterbacks, and the guys stuck in the middle are just hoping ten different scenarios break their way. It’s the best time of the year, and we’re here to break it all down. Let’s look at our week 13 NFL power rankings.

  1. Detroit Lions (LW: 1) - Za’Darius Smith has slotted in so well, you’d think he was named captain.
  2. Buffalo Bills (2) - The 49ers coming to town may have lost its luster, but the next three games are nothing to sneeze at as Buffalo prays for a KC slip-up.
  3. Philadelphia Eagles (4) - 6 weeks ago this team looked like a discombobulated disaster. They now sport a terrifying defense and a terminator in the backfield.
  4. Kansas City Chiefs (3) - Every game can be as close as you want when you wield black magic.
  5. Baltimore Ravens (6) - A slow start following a gross game last week was troublesome, but Lamar and co. heat up quicker than NBA Jam rules.
  6. Green Bay Packers (9) - LVN strip sack? Quay Walker PFF’s highest-graded Packers defender? Cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!
  7. Pittsburgh Steelers (5) - Not exactly a winter wonderland the Steelers would like to see again.
  8. Los Angeles Chargers (7) - Harbaugh's Thanksgiving dinner is going to be so awkward.
  9. Minnesota Vikings (8) - A hell of an escape to stay hot on the heels of the division-leading Lions.
  10. Denver Broncos (13) - Bo Nix might win ROTY and none of us should ever evaluate a QB again.
  11. Washington Commanders (10) - An embarrassing loss to a ravaged Cowboys team, but at least they can complete Hail Mary’s at will.
  12. Arizona Cardinals (12) - A gross offensive game against the Seahawks when they absolutely needed a win. Their rematch in two weeks may decide the division.
  13. Seattle Seahawks (14) - Mike McDonald is a miracle worker and the Seahawks’ defense looks ready for a run at the division.
  14. Houston Texans (11) - Something is still not right with C.J. Stroud. Fortunately, the putrid AFC South gives them plenty of time to figure it out.
  15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (17) - With one of the easiest schedules in the league down the stretch, there should be plenty of opportunity for Baker Mayfield to pull out Tommy DeVito tributes.
  16. Miami Dolphins (18) - Tua looks like his regular self and Jaylen Waddle finally joined the party after a dormant year. Don’t let them get hot!
  17. Atlanta Falcons (16) - Having lost a few very winnable games, the Falcons find themselves in an unenviable spot needing a win against either the Chargers or Vikings the next two weeks.
  18. Cincinnati Bengals (19) - Do they have...
