Daily Norseman
Hello everyone, and welcome to the Week 10 Minnesota Vikings roundtable here at Daily Norseman. The Vikes are coming off an emotional win in the Motor City over the Detroit Lions. Now they’ve got a date with another team trying to will themselves back into the playoff picture in the Baltimore Ravens.
Can the Vikings beat the Ravens and keep the needle pointing upward, or will they remain in football purgatory?
Let’s talk to it:
Brandon Warne: I’m a 75, but I’ll be a 100 if they beat the Ravens. I’ve believed in the talent all along — hey, by the way, go check who was the only one to pick them to win last week — but talent will only take you so far. A statement win over the Ravens — after a big one against the Lions — will have me planning parade routes.
Christopher Gates: I’m hesitant to go too far overboard on this one, because the schedule going forward is still a pretty tough one. But given that I was completely expecting a loss last week and was pleasantly surprised, I’m going to give us about a 60 on this 1-100 scale. I think we saw what the Vikings are capable of on Sunday in Detroit, and I’m hoping that they can sustain that momentum against what is going to be a very tough Baltimore Ravens team.
Craig Williams: The Vikings were never gone, their QB was, but 9/10 he’s back baby!
Dave Stefano: 75… The team is getting healthier overall and realizing its 2025 identity of being good.
Sam Buegler: 80. All I wanted out of the last game was McCarthy to look solid and to please not get obliterated. So walking out of Ford Field with a dub and a new sense of joy felt amazing. I fear I might be in for a letdown soon, but for now, I am just enjoying the adrenaline from the win.

BW: I thought the asking price for Breece Hall was reasonable, and it sure seemed like he’d have been happy as hell to get out of New York. I think being the team that rescues a player from a tough situation gives them a little added affinity for you — not exactly the same as Cris Carter or Jared Allen — and the added benefit of being not that far from Iowa State….I don’t know. I just really like Breece Hall and always think you can use more offensive firepower (especially when you’re bringing along a young quarterback).
CG: Not really. There just didn’t seem to be a whole lot of attractive targets, and when you see teams giving up multiple first-round picks for guys, it was really a seller’s market out there....
