The Miami Dolphins suffered a slew of injuries in their 8-33 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.

Starting cornerback Storm Duck suffered an ankle injury on Sunday, and starting guard James Daniels injured his pectoral muscle after just three plays. Both players are expected to miss weeks, rather than months.

Duck is expected to miss 2-3 weeks, but it’s worth noting that he was carted off the field on Sunday, after initially being able to walk on his ow .

On Daniels, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said “It’s not season-ending. He won’t be available this week. It’ll be a couple of weeks, and we’re evaluating the timeline.” Daniels is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, but will not require surgery, as per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Starting tackle Austin Jackson (toe) needs further evaluation to determine a timeline to return, and defensive tackle Benito Jones is also considered week to week. The Dolphins are already down two starters for Week 2, but the number could rise to as high as four as the week goes on.
