The New Orleans Saints wrapped up their first practice ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the New England Patriots. Defensive end Chase Young has officially returned to practice, as he was limited with a calf injury. Safety Justin Reid, who left Sunday’s matchup with the New York Giants with a concussion, was also at practice. Running back Alvin Kamara also appeared on the injury report with an ankle injury and is described by Kellen Moore as day-to-day. Officially for the Saints, nine players are listed on the injury report, with eight participating in some capacity. The only non-participant was cornerback Isaac Yiadom.
The Patriots also listed nine players on their injury report on Wednesday, with two being absent. Standout edge rusher Keion White was absent with an elbow injury, and safety Jaylinn Hawkins didn’t participate as he deals with a hamstring injury.
