The New Orleans Saints have wrapped up their first practice ahead of their NFC South matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints listed only four players on Wednesday’s injury report, all of whom were absent. Running back Alvin Kamara remained absent as he deals with a knee injury. At the same time, safety Justin Reid was added after suffering an injury early in the team’s last matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Wide receiver Chris Olave was absent after reaggravating his back injury in the team’s loss on Sunday.
The Buccaneers had nine players on Wednesday’s injury report, including many key players. Quarterback Baker Mayfield was limited with a left shoulder injury, while running back Bucky Irving Jr. and wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr. were also limited after making appearances in the team’s win over the Arizona Cardinals. Tampa Bay also opened the practice window for wide receiver Mike Evans, who was injured early in the season with a collarbone injury.
