  • Jim Wyatt offers his observations from Tennessee Titans practice on Wednesday, where Cam Ward called the offense “mid.” For those of you who aren’t teenagers and don’t have any in the house, that means it wasn’t very good.
  • I’d like to offer once again that you shouldn’t be overly concerned about the offense in the early stages of training camp. There are going to be some bumps with a rookie quarterback. Now, if after the second preseason game we are still having similar conversations, that will be a time to express some concern.
  • PFF called the Titans one of their 5 dark-horse teams that could surpass their 2025 win total. FanDuel currently has the Titans at 5.5. PFF likes them to win 6.3 games. So much of that depends on Ward, but I like them to win 7 or more.
  • Over at ESPN, Bill Barnwell looked at players on each team who are worth a first round pick. This is a fun exercise in practice, but some of Barnwell’s projections feel a little crazy. For the Titans, he said Ward could get two first rounders and Jeffery Simmons could get one. Eh. Maybe.
