Alright, Chicago Bears fans, we have a new weekly roundtable for you – predictions for the Chicago Bears games. The first of the series will be for the Chicago Bears vs. the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football to cap week one of the 2025 NFL season. Our writers may give score predictions, fantasy studs and duds, outstanding performances, particularly how the QBs perform, and anything else that strikes their fancy. Here are our predictions for Bears vs. Vikings, Week One:

Lester: I not only have the Bears covering the 1.5 spread this week, but give me them to win outright. I like Chicago’s tight ends to have a big game on Monday off a heavy dose of play action.

Bryan: Bears cover the spread and win outright. D’Andre Swift is a fantasy stud with a focus on the run game and plenty of targets in the passing game.

Ryan: Bears cover and win the game. Swift has one of his best games that we’ve seen in a Bears uniform, and Colston Loveland arrives on national television with a great outing. 27-24.

Josh: I think Caleb stumbles at a couple of big moments, but the inexperience of McCarthy shows up equally big. The Bears pull off an ugly 20-17 win, and both teams vow to get better moving forward.

Sam: Roast me all you want, I need to see it before I believe it. There are going to be growing pains just like there have all summer. I think the Bears lose this one, but it’s close. Minnesota 21, Bears 17. I think Rome has a fast start to the year.

GOOCH: For myself, the absence of TJ Edwards has me rethinking the low score I had for the Vikings in this first encounter. I still think that JJ McCarthy is going to have a typical rookie outing – I have him throwing one TD pass against two interceptions. And Caleb is going to pass for at least two TDs against the Flores defense. I think the score will be tighter than I had thought: 24-17, Bears over the Vikings. I’m also going to predict two sacks for Montez Sweat and a +80-yard game for Rome Odunze.
