Hello, Chicago Bears Fans! Well, Packer week is nearly over, and GAME DAY IS HERE, and both the Bears and the Green Bay Packers have excellent records for once. The Bears currently sit atop the NFC, but the Packers are just behind them, and with a victory on Sunday, they would leapfrog the Bears for the NFC North lead. The Bears look to get a couple of linebackers back tomorrow with Noah Sewell and TJ Edwards both practicing this week, but #1 wide receiver Rome Odunze is out with a stress fracture in his foot. On the Packers’ side of things, they have already lost Tucker Craft for the season and just lost their best interior defensive lineman, Devonte Wyatt. Which team will take better advantage of the other team’s weakness this week? And who will come out on top? Here is what some of our WCG contributors predict will happen in this clash on the frozen tu…nah I won’t say it. Here is what we think will happen in the game:
GOOCH: Bears 24, Packers 17. I predict a close game, with the Bears getting quite a bit of success with inside zone runs against the weakened interior Packers defense. However, the Parsons of the Packers does get two sacks in the game, and the Bears struggle in long down and distance situations. It’s a see-saw game through the first three quarters, but the Bears break through in the 4th quarter, keyed by a crucial interception thrown by Jordan Love to Kevin Byard. Sweat and Booker notch sacks. Caleb throws for two touchdowns.
Josh Sunderbruch: Love and the Packers jump out to an early lead, made worse by them stopping the Bears on 4th down when points were available. Then Ben Johnson and Dennis Allen happen, and Caleb hits just enough to be clutch even if it doesn’t look pretty. 24-21 Chicago.
Bryan Orenchuk: Bears win 31-20 after the offense runs for over 200 yards and Caleb throws for 3 TDs. Bears Nickels both get a sack (Spidey and CJGJ) and one of them causes a crucial sack fumble to silence the crowd.

Jack R Salo: Packers 17-13. While the Bears are really coming along in the past few weeks, I think they’re overdue for a lesson. The wins have masked too many mistakes, and Caleb Williams seems to be holding the offense back a bit. The Packers, meanwhile, are starting to look like the dominant team that seemingly everybody expected them to be before the season started. I think a few penalties really burn the Bears (I’ve seen this movie before) and a low-scoring affair goes in favor of the Pack. However, I do still think they split the season series, so see you in a couple weeks.
