Well, Bears fans, while some of our game predictions have proven prescient, sadly, the game score predictions for our optimists here at WCG have not been borne out in the first two games. Our skeptics, however, have been proven quite correct. This week, two of us predict the Bears are ready to get in the win column, while one predicts rain in the forecast yet again. Here are our predictions for the Chicago Bears vs. the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday (game time 3:25 PM CST).
Gooch: 36-28 Bears. Caleb throws for three touchdowns, as does Dak. Another TD for Rome and another 100-yard rec game. Monangai gets 80 yards rushing. Neither defense look great, but Sweat gets off the snide and notches his first sack of the season. Former Bear Jack Sanborn picks off Caleb.
Lester: The Bears will win, 34-32, as the offense clicks with Caleb throwing for over 300 yards. The defense comes through with a big play at the end to seal it.
Sam: I want to believe. But somehow it keeps getting worse. 35-28 Cowboys. I have a hard time seeing them slowing down the ‘Boys pass weapons. Offense has a good game and finally doesn’t get all the blame, though.
Superfans: Chicago’s defense has six sacks while the Cowboys’ offense has five turnovers, and the Bears win 44 to 0 as an ode to the greatest team in sports history.
