Henderson, the club’s second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, immediately made his presence felt by returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown in Friday’s preseason opener against the Washington Commanders.
It’s the kind of play to draw some strong, but deserved, reactions…
Henderson will be a major player in the offense this season, especially if he’s kept fresh and is used judiciously throughout the season.
The Patriots will almost certainly have him continue returning kicks, while his skillset on the offensive side lends itself well to late downs, red area reps and obvious passing situations.
New England has something special on its hands…
