Washington Commanders vs New York Giants Inactives: Down another RB

The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for today’s game on Friday and then made one roster move yesterday. CB Darius Rush is active for his duration game this season. Jonathan Jones has started the last four games, but is inactive today due to a rib injury.

RB Chris Rodriguez Jr is inactive, and was limited in practice with a groin injury. It was reported early this morning that he was unlikely to be able to play today. Rodriguez Jr had been getting more playing time recently, but Bill Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols will have to step up. The Commanders also signed Chase Edmonds from the practice squad this week and he’s active today.

Jayden Daniels is back on the inactive list after reaggravating his left elbow injury vs the Minnesota Vikings. He was limited in practice this week and isn’t cleared for contact again.

DE Drake Jackson was activated from IR last week, but he’s still not ready to return from a 2023 patellar tendon injury.

Offensive tackles Trent Scott and George Fant continue be inactive. Former UCLA LBs Kain Medrano and Ale Kaho are both active today.
