The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for today’s game on Friday and then made one roster move yesterday. WR Tay Martin was elevated for today’s game, Antonio Hamilton was elevated last week, but was signed to the active roster after DE Javontae Jean-Baptiste (pec) went on IR. Martin gets elevated for the second week in a row with WRs Terry McLaurin(quad) and Noah Brown(groin) still out.

The Commanders ruled out three players on Thursday due to an early travel week to fly out to LA. Sam Cosmi(ACL) was ruled out for the game, but he hasn’t been activated from the Reserve/PUP list. The team started his 21-day practice window this week.

Jayden Daniels(knee) and John Bates(groin) are both making their returns after missing the last two games. Daniels will be wearing a knee brace on his left leg. Josh Johnson goes back to the inactive list and will serve as the team’s emergency 3rd QB with Marcus Mariota backing up Daniels.

Brandon Coleman remains a healthy scratch for the third straight game. He was replaced by Chris Paul, while starting RG Nick Allegretti was replaced by Andrew Wylie. This will change again when Sam Cosmi returns.

Both of Washington’s two rookie LBs are inactive today. Ale Kaho was an undrafted free agent from UCLA, and his teammate Kain Medrano, was selected in the 6th round. Both were active last week, Medrano for his first game. Kaho suffered a concussion and cleared protocol this week, but is not playing today.

DE Preston Smith is active for his first game since getting signed by the Commanders over two weeks ago. The Jean-Baptiste injury opens a reserve spot for him on gameday.
