The Washington Commanders announced a pair of practice squad moves this morning. Wide receiver Jacoby Jones made his NFL debut in Madrid, Spain after he was signed from the practice squad for the game against the Miami Dolphins. He caught his first pass, a 25-yarder for a 1st down on his only target during the game. Jones was then released to make room on the 53-man roster for Daron Payne who was returning from a 1-game suspension.
Jones cleared waivers and has been re-signed to the Commanders practice squad as expected. He will be eligible to be elevated two more times this season before he has to be signed to the 53-man roster to be active on gameday. Washington released S Daryl Worley as their corresponding move. The Commanders opened S Will Harris’s 21-day practice window while they were in Spain, and he is expected to return from a fractured fibula after the bye week. Harris
