The Washington Commanders made a few roster moves earlier this morning, and have reportedly made four more this afternoon. Adam Schefter reports they have claimed veteran nose tackle Shy Tuttle off waivers from the Tennessee Titans. He was released two days, and will now join a defensive line that has dealt with a lot of injuries this season. Eddie Goldman missed last week due to a concussion, and he didn’t practice today and has been placed on IR. Daron Payne is also listed with a back injury, but is likely to suit up on Christmas day vs the Cowboys.

Shy Tuttle(6’3”, 300lb, 30 yo) was an undrafted free agent from Tennessee who signed with the New Orleans Saints after the 2019 NFL draft. He spent four seasons in the Big Easy, before leaving in free agency to sign with the Carolina Panthers. He was with them until getting cut on roster cutdown day this year. He signed with the Titans, and appeared in 10 games this season, starting one.
