The Washington Commanders have reportedly made a few more roster moves as they continue to deal with more injuries. Wide receiver Treylon Burks was signed to the practice squad more than two weeks ago, but was elevated for the first time last week against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. It was a lopsided game that Washington lost 38-14. Burks played 33 snaps(51%) on offense and had 1 catch for 14 yards, and also played two snaps on special teams.
Burks is getting an opportunity due to injuries to Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (groin) who have missed multiple games, and will be missing a few more in the coming weeks. Washington also saw potentially season-ending injuries to QB Jayden Daniels (elbow), CB Marshon Lattimore (ACL), and WR Luke McCaffrey (collarbone) on Sunday night.
Tre Harris was picked in the 6th round out of Old Dominion by the New York Giants in the 2023 NFL draft. He started 4 games over two seasons, before a spine injury ended his season in Week 14 last year. He was released by New York with an injury designation, and now joins the Commanders practice squad.
