Washington Commanders Roster Moves: One player elevated from the practice squad

The Washington Commanders are elevating WR Robbie Chosen from the practice squad. This is the second elevation for Chosen since signing with the team on October 1st. Washington didn’t elevate any defensive backs despite safeties Quan Martin and Tyler Owens being questionable with hamstring injuries. The Detroit Lions are visiting this week.

Treylon Burks and Sheldon Day were elevated from the practice squad last week, and they were both signed to the 53-man roster this week. Burks had only been elevated for the Seahawks game, but that was Day’s third elevation and he needed to be signed, to be active again in this season. Washington’s defensive line depth has been thinned out by multiple season-ending injuries at defensive end, and other players filling in.

The Commanders WR depth continues to get tested with Luke McCaffrey going on injured reserve this week after breaking his collarbone on the opening kickoff. Terry McLaurin is out again after reaggravating his quad injury and Noah Brown hasn’t played since a Week 2 groin injury.
