The Washington Commanders made four roster moves before today’s practice. The team placed starting center Tyler Biadasz on injured reserve after he suffered ankle and knee injuries vs the Cowboys on Christmas day. He was rolled up on during a play, and was wearing a leg sleeve and walking boot after the game Dan Quinn told reporters that he didn’t require surgery, but he was unlikely to play in the season finale against the Eagles on Sunday.
The Commanders made several practice squad moves to go along with shutting Biadasz down. Julian Good-Jones was signed to the 53-man roster to fill the roster spot and provide OL depth. He’s listed as a center/guard and he was active for one game for Washington in 2023. Good-Jones was signed off the Eagles practice squad two years ago, and has mostly been on Washington’s practice squad.
The Commanders worked out six players yesterday and signed two of them to the practice squad. Guard Sala Aumavae-Laulu and DE D.J. Johnson now get a one-week audition to see if the team wants to sign them to a reserve-future contract for next season.
