A prized Jayden Daniels rookie card was recently purchased by one of the very men responsible for bringing him to Washington a year ago.
Per Larry Holder of The Athletic, Washington Commanders owner Josh Harris purchased a Jayden Daniels rookie card for $500,000 at Saturday’s Fanatics Fest at the Javits Center in New York City, New York.
Jacob Ramos and Josh Roth of Rothcards came forward with a “one-of-one” Daniels 2024 Panini Prizm Black Finite and put it up for sale. Harris quickly bought the card for $500,000, per Holder, with the star quarterback giving each of the two sellers a jersey he signed at the event.
The 24-year-old Daniels is coming off arguably the greatest rookie season in NFL history, completing 69.0 percent of pass attempts for 3,568 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions to go along with 891 rushing yards and six rushing scores.

Daniels led the Commanders to a 12-5 record and their first playoff win in 19 years over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They stunned the top-seeded Detroit Lions in the Divisional Round to reach the NFC Championship Game for the first time since 1991, where they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles.
After 23 years of miserable Dan Snyder ownership, the Commanders’ present and long-term future look brighter than ever under Harris, Daniels and head coach Dan Quinn.
The Commanders haven’t reached the postseason in consecutive years since 1991 and ’92, but they’re in good shape to end that drought here in 2025. Jayden Daniels and the Commanders will kick off the new season at home against the NFC East rival and new-look New York Giants on Sept. 7.
Washington swept the season series last season, with both victories decided by a single possession. Daniels had 435 passing yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and 79 rushing yards in those two contests.
