The Washington Commanders are reportedly adding a veteran WR to their practice squad. Robbie Chosen, who came into the NFL as Robbie Anderson, an undrafted free agent in 2016 out of Temple that signed with the New York Jets. He had one of his best seasons in 2020 when he signed a 2-year, $20 million free agent contract with the Carolina Panthers. He had 95 receptions for 1,096 yards and 3 TDs.

Terry McLaurin missed Sunday’s game against the Falcons with a quad injury, and the Commanders elevated WR Tay Martin from the practice squad over Ja’Corey Brooks and Jacoby Jones. Martin had one catch for 14 yards. Chosen’s last game was with the Dolphins last season. He ended the season with 1 reception for 5 yards. Chosen is 32 years old and looking for one more chance in the NFL.
