The Arizona Cardinals will be without Walter Nolen this week as they prepare for their matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jonathan Gannon announced that the rookie defensive lineman is out this week after dealing with an injury during the Cardinals latest loss, this one to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

While the play that the injury occurred is not known, it does seem likely that it happened when Nolen scored his first NFL touchdown on the early fumble recovery for the Cardinals.

This is a huge blow for the Cardinals who are awful on the interior defensive line, especially against the pass:

The Cardinals desperately need to get better this week, as the Buccaneers may not have Baker Mayfield, but their run game has been electric, even within their three-game losing streak.

The Cardinals run defense has been bad lately, and with the Bucs potentially getting Bucky Irving back this week, you don’t want to be the get right game for teams.
