On Monday, the league announced that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been nominated to become Week 4’s FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week.
The Chiefs quarterback completed 25 of 37 attempts (67.6%) for 270 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions — good for a 124.8 passer rating — in Sunday’s 37-20 defeat of the Baltimore Ravens.
Mahomes won the weekly award three times in 2018 — when he was also named the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Year — and won it once in 2019, 2022 and 2023.
Week 4’s other nominees include Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
The nominees for Week 4’s FedEx Ground Player of the Week include Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty, Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua.
